Joey Tam earned his High Diploma in Architectural Design from City University, Hong Kong, and a High Certificate in Building Studies from HKTC. Afterwards he finished his education with BA (Hons) in Architecture from Deacan University, Australia.

Originally from Hong Kong, Joey Tam joined Greenspace in a year. Before the current position, he had worked for several remarkable architecture and interior design film such as Spence Robinson  Associae, Woods Bagot, Mmoser and Mi2. After having accumulated several years of experience in architecture, his passion for creativity soon impelled him to explore conceptual design and development. His background in architecture has equipped him with an eager eye for the practical necessities of his projects, which he balances with a strong emphasis on their aesthetic appeal. Joey’s ability to simultaneously negotiate the rational and emotional in each of his design projects is one of his major strengths; his primary responsibility as a designer is to cater to the ethos and atmosphere of each and every client.

Joey has developed his approach to design over 26 years in the industry, designing office, exhibition, commercial, retail spaces for companies such as the Royal Bank of Scotland, Deutsche Bank, Daimler, Mercedes Benz, Nestle, HKI, BOE, Everbright Bank of China and etc. His personal philosophy holds that there should be no pre-conceived menu for design, and that each project should organically incorporate elements of the location’s atmosphere and surroundings. He draws artistic inspiration from his daily experiences, harnessing his innately inquisitive nature in order to continually re-invigorate and re-create his identity as a designer.

谭耀祖Joey Tam先生来自香港，毕业于澳大利亚迪肯大学建筑设计学士学位,之后又获得香港城市大学建筑设计高级证书，及香港工业学院建筑设计高级证书。
Joey 2017年加入Greenspace，在此之前曾就职于Woods Bagot 伍兹贝格、Mmoser 穆氏建筑设计有限公司、Mi2 北京依维思高装饰设计有限公司，积累了多年的建筑空间设计经验,对创造力的热情能更快的促使他对空间概念设计的探索和研发，建筑学的背景使他能具有更强烈的洞察力，同时重点平衡设计的美感及功能实用性的结合，能兼具理性与感性去设计创造,Joey认为设计具有使命感，根据不同的使用者的需求提供不同的设计服务。
Joey拥有超过26年的设计经验,设计项目涵盖了办公空间、展示空间、商业空间等多种类型的空间设计项目, 主持过戴姆勒、百度、普华永道、雀巢、甲骨文、索尼、苏格兰皇家银行(Royal Bank of Scotland)和光大银行等世界知名企业，他的个人哲学认为,不应该有先入为主的菜单式设计,将每个项目的企业文化元素和位置环境有机结合才是完整的作品。Joey从日常的经历中汲取艺术灵感，利用他天生的好奇心来不断重振和重新塑造自己是一名设计师的身份。
