     侯胤杰Nathan，一个有信仰的室内设计师，内心充满着对自己信仰的执着和热情。追求一切回归自然和纯净的设计理念。无论在工作还是生活中，都始终贯彻诚恳、严谨以及一丝不苟的人生态度。其设计风格充分透露出他个人对色彩的卓越表达，以及在空间概念上的非凡视角。最擅长从各类艺术元素中寻找出造物主最起初的心意，因此独具匠心的私人居所以及摩登时尚的商业空间是他的强项。
时光荏苒，侯胤杰Nathan和他的设计已经扎根于上海十五年之久。他曾在国际设计公司Ｄariel Studio担任项目总监一职多年。2014年开始创立自己的NOTHING STUDIO法纳兴室内设计上海有限公司。从建筑改造、花园设计、硬装设计、软装搭配再到艺术品的鉴赏，无论哪一样服务，他都秉承专业的态度，尽心尽力。在他的心里，无论是高端私宅，商业空间，还是酒店项目，最终的归属都是在为人服务，为生活方式的展现提供更多的可能。
平衡地展现“整一性”、精准地把握“多样性”是侯胤杰Nathan和他的NOTHING STUDIO设计事务所所遵循的两大设计准则。
 在成长的道路上，凭借不懈的努力，NOTHING STUIDO的作品已被冠上了诸多荣誉。但侯胤杰Nathan并没有止步于此，他认为设计的美感是在满足生活需求的基础上，把居住者的生活方式带入到设计中。他从生活方式的点滴出发，让设计有了新的意义。

Nathan Hou is an interior designer with his own belief and full of dedication and passion towards his belief. He pursues all designing concepts concerning nature and things of purity. Whether it’s work or life, he always sticks to his life attitude of being sincere, strict as well as meticulous. His designing style fully reveals his way of expression towards colors as well as his extraordinary angle on the concept of space. He is especially good at discovering the original thoughts of the creators through different kinds of artistic elements. Therefore, private houses of unique styles and commercial space of modern and fashionable design is what makes him unique in this field.
Time flies, Nathan has been working in this field in Shanghai for 15 years. He was the project director of Dariel Studio, an international designing company for many years. In 2014, he founded his own company NOTHING STUDIO, which is an interior designing company based in Shanghai. He has always been professional and dedicated on all his services, including Architectural Design, Garden Design, Interior Design, Soft Decoration match as well as the appreciation of artworks. In his opinion, whether it’s high-end residence, commercial space or hotel projects, the core is to serve people and provide them with more possibilities to show their lifestyles.
Showing “integration” in a balanced way and mastering “diversity” accurately are the two major designing standards Nathan and his NOTHING STUDIO have always been sticking to.
     On the journey to success, through unsteady hard work, the projects of NOTHING STUDIO have won many rewards and compliments. However, this doesn’t stop Nathan from pursuing more. For him, the beauty of design is to bring the lifestyles to his projects, which is based on the fact that people can satisfy their own life needs.  As he starts every design from little things in life, his designs are filled with unique meanings.

老别墅里的新生命

上海这座魅力的都市一直吸引着全球各地设计师的到来，Nathan就是其中一员，他用自己对色彩的天然触觉和空间的敏锐把握，在上海设计界赢得了一席之地。他对设计的一丝不苟，对生活方式多样性的提炼深深的吸引着很多人。这套位于上海郊区的老别墅改造也毫无例外。从爱好到信仰，从时尚到审美，设计师Nathan为业主打造的不仅是一座居住的空间，更是一种生活方式的重新诠释。老屋新颜，法式的摩登与欧式的浪漫在空间交织，令人印象深刻。

改造是全面的 只为专属的私密与舒适
不同于常规的改造项目，这套老别墅的改造是整体性的“大动作”，历经了近一年的时间。从建筑的外立面改造、室内格局的规划再到花园的设计，Nathan仔细研究了业主的喜好、生活阅历、生活习惯以及职业的特性，精细计算着每一个角落所呈现的方式，以期待最好的样子。
90年代中式风的建筑外观被重新改造，用层层的直线条勾勒，因为业主喜欢欧式现代风范的简约；入户门被设计成带有镜框的暗门，因为业主希望这里是私密的，不会被轻易发觉；破旧狭小的窗户置换成落地窗，因为业主喜欢阳光洒满室内；墙体被往外延展，客厅被打通，因为业主喜欢空间的宽敞……零零总总，这样的设计让人目不暇接。每一处的设计，在看似平淡的背后，凝聚了设计师Nathan对业主细致入微的照顾。

法式的浪漫 柔和着家与工作室的界限
    作为一个介于家与工作室之间的居所，Nathan用他对生活方式艺术的理解和多年的设计经验，在设计中，注入了法国的浪漫主义情怀，柔和的展现着空间的迷人。他用高级的黑白灰做基底，用鲜艳的色彩做点缀。柔软的轻纱、温暖的皮毛，让整个空间被浓浓的女性气息所包围，低调而奢华。
一楼的会客厅，客厅的墙被打开，透过窗户和折叠门，就可分别看到不同的景观。一树一景，被巧妙的融入观者的眼中。Nathan通过点对点的设计手法，将室内外景观融为一体，和谐共生。考究的设计还体现在更衣室的一角，半隔断的墙和透明的壁炉相互结合，让空间在半遮半掩中，透着灵动的气息。特别为业主定制的三面镜，从不同的角度反射出空间的光感，趣味性十足。
餐厅既是会议室也是简餐聚会的场所，黑色的铁艺拱门搭配古典的石膏雕花装饰，优雅的线条中透出纯正的法国味道。打开门，映入眼帘的是一个精致的空间，简单方便的西厨设计、考究的金属吊灯，直线条装饰的墙壁，又或是亦古以今的餐椅组合，都散发出中西合璧的艺术风范。
楼梯的设计是业主最满意的地方，这里承上启下，至关重要。优美的线条，黑白质感的对比，如同一位优雅的舞者旋转，再旋转，娓娓而上，那种浪漫的法式风情扑面而来。为了更好的采光和层高的需求，二楼原有的阁楼被敲掉，工作室顶部的空间被打开，豁然开朗，loft感十足。至于，业主的工作室中通往室外的小阳台设计，则是设计师Nathan在还原业主对法国酒店的美好回忆，微风拂过轻纱，从室外的阳台缓缓蔓延到室内，那种清新唯美的感觉，深深的印在脑海里，挥之不去。

谈到设计，Nathan总是会强调：他是在为业主的生活方式而设计。他认为设计的美感不能止步于某种风格或拘泥于某个流派，而是在满足生活需求的基础上，把居住者的生活方式带入到设计中。他从生活方式的点滴出发，让设计有了新的生命。
New life for the old villa

Shanghai, a glamorous city, attracts designers all around the world to visit her, and Nathan is one of them. He has won his popularity in Shanghai’s designing field through his natural sense of touch towards colors as well as his acute master on space. His meticulous attitudes towards designing as well as diversification distilling on lifestyles attract people’s attention. As a result, there is no exception on the reconstruction of this old villa in suburb Shanghai. Whether it’s from an angle of a hobby or a belief, whether it’s from fashion or appreciation, what Nathan has built for the proprietor is not only a place to live, but what’s more important, it’s a new definition on lifestyle. An old house with a new surface, there’s the intersection with French modern style as well as European romantics, which is impressive.

Comprehensive reconstruction  Just for customized privacy and comfort
Different from usual reconstruction, the reconstruction of this old villa is a complete “major movement”, which lasted for about a year. From building reconstruction, interior structure planning to garden design, Nathan has done a careful research on the owner’s hobby, life experience, living habit as well as the special elements in his occupation. He has worked accurately on the presentation of each corner to ensure the most expected result.
The building of Chinese style in 1990s has been reconstructed by adding layers of straight lines as the owner likes the simplicity from the European modern style. The entrance was designed as a hidden door with a picture frame, for the owner hopes it to be private and not to be found easily. Old and shabby windows were changed to the French window, because the owner hopes his house to be filled with sunshine. The walls were extended outward and the living room became larger by dismantling some of the walls as the owner enjoys spacious room. All these designs can be seen everywhere that you hope you have more time to enjoy them. You may take them for granted, however, behind all these simple designs is the considerate care from Nathan to the owner.
French Romance   Softening the boundary between home and working studio
As a residence connecting home and working studio, Nathan has input French Romanticism into the design to show the attraction of the space in a soft way, which is based on his understanding towards the art of lifestyle as well as years of designing experience. He took the high-end colors of black and white as the background, with shining colors decorating it. Soft gauze and warm fur make the space full of female characters, which is low-key but remains luxurious.
In terms of the living room in the first floor, walls have been dismantled, you can see different sceneries through windows and folded doors. A tree and a piece of scenery can be directly shown to the viewer. Through the designing method of being point to point, Nathan made the sceneries inside and outside the house integrated and they exist in a harmonious way. One exquisite designing aspect is also shown in the corner of the dressing room, where the half-dismantled wall integrates with the fireplace, which makes the space in a half-opening and half-closing way, as a result, this gives us a sense of intelligent. Three mirrors, which are customized for the owner, can reflect the light from different angles, very interesting.
As for the dining room, not only is it a conference room, but also a place for simple meals. Black iron arch combines with classical decoration of gypsum carved flowers, we can feel the French style through these graceful lines. When opening the door, what comes to the eyes is a well-designed space with simple but convenient design of western kitchen, exquisite metal pendant light, wall decorated with straight lines, chairs and tables with both ancient and modern styles, all these can reveal the artistic style of combining Chinese and western elements.
The stairs are the part which the owner feels most satisfied, for they connect different storeys and thus are quite important. Graceful lines, direct comparison between the colors of black and white make the stairs look like a graceful dancer who spins through the way up with elegance, people can feel the romantic French style coming to them. In consideration of better lighting and the height of the storey, the attic in the second floor was removed and thus the space in the top of the studio was open with great sight, just like a loft. The small balcony connects the working studio to the outside world, on its design, Nathan perfectly restored the owner’s beautiful memory towards the French hotel, namely the wind blows softly through the gauze from the exterior balcony to the interior house, as a result, that fresh and aesthetic feeling lingers in your head and stays there for a long time.
When talking about design, Nathan always highlights that he designs for the owner’s lifestyle. He stipulates that the beauty of designing should not be limited to a certain style or genre, but to bring the lifestyle of the residents to the design on the basis that they can satisfy their life needs. He starts his design from very little things in life, thus, it is endowed with new life.
